Dr. Marc Hagebusch (Coach Marc) is a 4th degree Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt under the legendary Master Julio Cesar Pereira, head of the powerhouse Grappling Fight Team.
Coach Marc has over 35 years of experience in various martial arts and combat systems including Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Kickboxing, Wrestling, Judo, Jeet Kun Do (Bruce Lee’s art), Tae Kwon Do, and Shotokan Karate… with 22 years training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Coach Marc says that his favorite thing about Jiu Jitsu is “everything”.
Coach Marc, is also a chiropractor, a board eligible chiropractic neurologist (after having completed over 400 post-doctorate hours in clinical neurology through the prestigious Carrick Institute), an author, a lecturer (giving professional talks on a wide variety of subjects from nutrition, weight loss, fibromylagia, chronic pain, headaches, Parkinson’s disease, personal injury, and many other topics). He has taught post-graduate seminars to chiropractors.
He also teaches seminars in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, MMA, and grappling. Coach Marc is also certified to train others in kettlebells under Mike Mahler.
He’s a proud veteran of the US Army where he served primarily overseas as a medic and in the Army Reserves during Desert Storm.
Outside of all these things, Coach Marc recognizes his greatest achievement is his family.
He has been married 32 years and as of this writing has a beautiful 12 year old daughter, Carley (who also trains, of course!).
